First Waszp Days in the books28/11/2023 During the recent weekend, I had the chance to try out the WASZP in Imperia. I joined the Drylaps team for some training, led by my former coach Simone and regional coach Theresa. It was very fun and the weather conditions were surprisingly decent for late November. I also had the chance to catch up with some old Optimist friends that I have not seen for a long time. The learning curve was quite steep, and I'm hoping to progress to my first foiling maneuvers in the upcoming camps. I need to get as many training hours as possible so that I can start racing soon. PS: My 49er career is on hold for now as Philipp has decided to stop sailing. As I can't find a crew, I will try foiling as it is probably the future of sailing and I intend to sail at a high level for a long time.
