I’ve won my second regatta this year, in fact the second in my life. Of course, it was only a regional one and only 19 kids participated. It was great fun anyway, we had a very nice north wind breeze of between 10 and 15 knots and it was good for me to improve my psychological skills (I was the clear favorite) and my ability to control the whole fleet. Not sure, though, that I will need either skill soon againsoon ;-).
My teammates Jonas and Niklas (also my brother) Jonas sailed the 420 for the first time in a regatta after they had trained just a single time. They had great fun, did quite well and signed up for the Swiss Championships in two weeks.
It also seems that I have won the Lake Zürich Championships that consisted of four regional regattas, both overall and as best opti B.
Coming up next is… something I may want to disclose in a few weeks… and a week of training at Lake Garda, my favorite sailing spot. Very much looking forward to it!!!
